Art and collections
A work without documents is worth less, and can divide those who inherit it.
A collection is wealth, memory and identity at the same time. It needs care that goes beyond insurance: documentation, provenance, clear ownership and a plan for the day it passes to someone else.

A work is also its story.

04Frequently asked questions
Short answers to real questions.
Can a work of art be placed in a trust?
Yes. A trust can hold works of art and set rules on where they are kept, how they may be lent or sold and who will receive them.
Why document a collection?
Because value depends on provenance and condition. Complete documentation protects the collection in sales, insurance claims and succession.
What does technology add?
Digital certificates and registers make provenance and ownership verifiable over time. I have worked on this since founding GMA in 2022.
What about collections spread across countries?
Each country has rules on export and cultural heritage. Planning where works are kept avoids blocks when they need to move.
Can a collection be divided among heirs without breaking it up?
Yes, with the right structure: heirs share the benefits while the collection stays together under common rules.
