Business crisis and debt restructuring

A crisis faced early is a problem to solve. Faced late, it becomes a problem for everyone.

Every company can go through a difficult season. What makes the difference is acting in time, with a clear reading of the numbers and a plan that keeps the business alive and treats creditors fairly. I coordinate this work with lawyers, independent experts and the company's advisers.

Short answers to real questions.

What tools does Italian law provide?

The Business Crisis and Insolvency Code (Legislative Decree 14/2019) provides, among others, the negotiated settlement of the crisis, certified recovery plans, debt restructuring agreements and the composition with creditors. The right one depends on the company and is chosen with its lawyers.

When should I start?

At the first warning signs: delayed payments, cash strain, debt that grows faster than revenue. The earlier you act, the more options remain open.

Is everything kept confidential?

The first conversations are always confidential. Some legal procedures then require formal steps, which are explained in advance.
